Ernie Terrell weighed in light because it was nature of the sport. You think Terell couldn't weight 260, have man boobs, love handles and then gas out after 3 rounds?

Also Tyson Fury is a better boxer than Terrell? You mean the Tyson Fury who is so unskilled than he could only land 100 punches in 10 rounds against Francesco Pianeta? Lol you mean the same Tyson Fury who only landed 17 percent of his punches against Pianeta? This is why I can't take Tyson Fury or Usyk fanboys seriously

Lol and Tyson Fury isn't a stiff idiot? The guy throws slapping arm punches for crying out loud. Tyson Fury is so fast that he could only land 86 punches against a 40 year old Wlad.

Lol Tyson Fury isn't 6 inches taller than Usyk because Fury is only 6'7 not 6'9. The moment a person says Fury is 6'9 you know they are a casual.

Terrell was known to be skinny despite his height, he usually fought below 200lbs. Fury is naturally a huge guy who naturally walks around 260-70lbs+. By being that weight consistently, his body gets used to that weight.

Fury naturally is a way bigger boxer than Terrell, you’re factually wrong here.
Yes, yes he was. Not really debatable.

Just watch the first round below. I’ve never seen such flat footed feet. Terrell literally looks like someone who’s just stepped into a boxing gym and is trying to figure out how to hold his hands up and move backwards and forwards at the same time.

He’s like this the whole fight. He also has absolutely zero head movement and is a sitting duck. Saying Terrell is better than Fury is simply foolish

The footwork in this fight is polar opposites

and actually now to think of it, seeing Ali next to Terrell - Terrell does not in anyway look 6 foot 6, he looks max 6 foot 4.

Yes this is a distinct possibility.

The 2 would cancel each other out a lot. Ali would have to be at his absolute best to best the master Usyk.

Again there is no logical reason why Terrell couldn't put on 60 pounds and be out of shape. Fury is fat, When Fury was 240 he was fat. If Fury boxed in the 1970's he would of came into the ring lighter because everybody did. Tyson Fury walks around weighing 270 with love handles and man breast lol.

Fury isn't skilled. He gets in the ring, runs , and throws slapping arm punches. Also you realize Ali is just faster than Terrell right? So that is why he looks so bad.

You want more funny? Then I am done typing to you. If you message me again i will just block you. Jame J Beattie was a legit 6'9 240 pounds of muscle. Nobody called him a huge guy. Bob Renfrow a guy Foreman knocked out as a amateur and later turned pro was 6'7 and between 250 and 280 and nobody called him huge. Just stop messaging me

Fury has so much head movement that slow windmill puncher WIlder was able to knock him down 4 times. I am done. Don't type to me anymore

You’re not convincing anyone that skinny Terrell was naturally as big as Fury

    ..right…
Didn’t realise I was dealing with this level of a casual, conversation over

If a mediocre southpaw gives Ali issues then I don't see why a great southpaw can't beat him. Ali wasn't unbeatable he had his flaws even in his prime

Aj is also a textbook stiff idiot he's just a bigger puncher. Fury has been put down and even wobbled by several opponents including Cunningham (Cunningham was outboxing him so Fury has to get aggressive) and tagged by unskilled guys in Ngannou and Wilder. He's not as good as you believe him to be and you're overblowing the value of his physical attributes, especially when Furys leaning doesn't work against guys that can clinch well no matter their size.

Reach, Speed, Chin, and Timing are more important factors than height. Ali would KO Fury, as good of a fighter as he is. Usyks achievements are his achievements, nobody is taking that from him, you seem to feel threatened about that because people rate the guy with the best resume in heavyweight boxing history
Bugner was not a stiff, ass reply.

Markus what these people don't realize is that fighters like Holmes, Lewis, Ali, etc. Were consistently fighting world class opposition for many years. So of course they will have some fights where they struggled because they were consistently fighting top 10 ranked opposition.

For example Fury since beating Wladimir almost 10 years ago has only fought 4 ranked Heavyweights. And he recently lost to the one of them in Usyk, and also went life and death with Wilder twice in which one of those fights was a draw.

So logically hasn't Fury shown alot more weakness fighting against far less notable opponents ? Hes been down 8 times and arguably could've had 3 losses on his record already.

Can you imagine Fury having the same schedule as Holmes ? Ali ? Lewis ? Where he would have to be consistently in shape fighting against ranked opposition every year ? How many losses do you think Fury would have ?

    Just to compare these fighters......

Ali has 30 wins against ranked opposition, Holmes has 15, Lewis had 13, and Fury has 4.....

And yet someone in this thread was trying to say Fury was an ATG on the same level of those fighters above.....laughable.

That's not even taking into account Fury already has just as many bad performances, yet fought a quarter of the ranked contenders

If you can give any heavyweight a tough fight H2H and were the undisputed lineal heavyweight champ then I'm sorry but you're an ATG I don't see why that's hard for people to grasp.
