If the size of a fighters frame is irrelevant then why dont we see middleweights bulk up to heavyweight and dominate the division? This guy is completely ignoring what is front of his eyes.

 

This. Pictures can be very deceiving as can official height listings. I’ve met both Gvozdyk and Usyk and Gvozdyk was noticeably taller, so Usyk’s 6’3” listing is around two inches off.

 

youre preaching to the choir. im 52, eat what i want when i want, and still cant put on weight. i once bulked up 43lbs heavier by working out and power feeding. it wasnt lean muscle, but it looked impressive. soon as i stopped maintaining, my weight dropped right off. my thin bones just werent built to carry that unnatural weight. the difference in height between me and mike tyson would make the difference in our wrist sizes hilarious.

 

Have a look, the ref seperate's them and Bowe does a double take as Hide goes down, as in WHAT !!!! I think that's a candidate for fix imo, considering he was up for throwing fights for money. Looking back though(I haven't seen it since) Hide couldn't act that well, he was just stupidly chinny. I was convinced foul play was involved

I'd like to see them both next to each other now, both bigger i'd imagine. Something I noticed when Usyk was standing next to Bellew in the face offs, was just how strong he looked compared to Bellew, subtle but he's like a tank, solid !

 

hes a strong lad uysk definitely and there no powder muscles like david haye. but i will say i think anyone could look good standing against bellew, hes built like an huge teenager boy.
