1. Briedis 2. Chisora 3. Joshua 4. Bellew 5. Hunter Like mentioned by others, Hunter clearly over Gassiev, as Gassiev got schooled. Bellew did good until he got figured out, and if he would have had the chin to go the distance with and not go down against Usyk, the likely consensus score would have landed around 117-111/116-112. But he got KO'd in 8.
The Bellew fight really wasn't as close as people like to make out. I gave Tony 2 rounds. Chisora gave Usyk a much tougher time. Usyk didn't find his rhythm at all in that fight.
What an objectively horrid take. And are you dyslexic or just intentionally being a dickhead with the Usky bull****?
Uayk school Hunter. This is hardest fight, not hardest on paper, but schooling happen. Hunter was dominated and won exactly 1 round...
I wouldn't put Bellew in top 5. I don't think him winning early rounds translates to it being a harder fight overall. Usyk knocked him out with consummate ease and would have done 100 times out of 100.
Joshua was at least 2nd because Usyk had to fight at a higher level to win than he did vs bellew and Chisora. Usyk rated himself a 3/10 vs Chisora. Usyk was just casual vs Bellew. Usyk had to be at his best at times vs Joshua.
1a) Briedis 1b) Chisora 3) Joshua 4) Bellew 5) Gassiev Struggle splitting Briedis and Chisora - the first was a bit closer, but Chisora gave Usyk a couple more uncomfortable moments than Briedis did in terms of style and stopping him from looking good. I think Bellew's performance against Usyk gets ludicrously overrated, and I've never understood why a perception persists that Usyk was having some kind of torrid time of it before he closed the show.
1. Briedis 2. Bellew 3. Chisora 4. Joshua 5. Gassiev Out of the 3 Brits Usyk has faced, Joshua put up the least resistance.
Agreed, after round 4 Briedis was feeling the pressure & started to get tired while eating up jabs & combination's, Anytime someone comes along & gives a great effort against a perceived great they overrate what happened & act like the fighter got embarrassed or badly outboxed as a way to spite him, You can tell Big boy Usyk love's a fight.
