What will you say, when he stops Fury ?

Another "too big, too strong" silly argument ?

David Haye and Dillian Whyte managed to stop Chisora. They aren't exactly knockout artists.

Usyk is a very good boxer but for all his boxing skills, he is not a big puncher. He's the only boxer I can think of who has landed hard, clean shots on Joshua's chin and failed to wobble him.

One has to remember that the AJ detractors - of which I am one - are talking about things at the highest level - there are levels to any game, be it boxing, guitars, drums, chess public speaking - u name it, there are levels

Joshua is an elite talent in his era, but Usyk is a generational talent that is a hard conundrum for any heavyweight to unlock.

I think the unfortunate issue for Joshua - and anyone else not named Fury - is that Usyk is just so much more well-rounded, and just at least a level above that it's hard for mere mortals to grasp.

For example, I am a competent guitarist and drummer - i've played in bands and can write a tune, but when I see a Steve Vai or a Jimmy Chamberlin I am like - how the **** does he do that? The answer is that whole levels thing - and when you get into that rarified atmosphere, what is 1% and subtle for me is like a massive deal for those higher-level operators. One thing that blew my mind back in the day was Steve Vaie saying that Danny Gatton blew him away and did things he struggled to comprehend. Which as a bog-standard guitarist blew my mind x1000.

I think that is how folks like Usyk rarely get tagged - they just operate on a different level from the rest of us, even the other elites.

In tennis compare Sampras, Federer and Djokovic for example. Djokovic and Fedbot IMO are so like Usyk in the way that whenever their opponent got a sniff of success, they got shut down super-quick. And that is the whole levels thing at play IMO

But to get back to your point why does it matter so much that Usyk didn't stop AJ? AJ brought his A-game but still over 24-rounds didn't get close to stopping The Cat!

    yes
    but
    i think the point is
he beat big stiff idiot with no stamina. only.
    fails to stop him
did not knock him down in 24 round
beat him clear did not actual shut him out completely. in first match or rematch
could not emulate fat Ruiz who batter AJ to canvas about 4 times and force quit job

how high do you rate AJ really?
    he was never all that.
Usyk at least a level above. but that is not saying much. is it?

    honestly
    except for suffering brief knockdown
Andy Ruiz Jr. still holds patented blueprint for beating AJ
this is what Usyk failed to do

the question should be will Fury duck Usyk like he did Wlad for rematch?
How soon will fury turn to drugs , alcohol and food if he will not be getting as much attention as Usyk???
I think he will have a breakdown soon , just like him and his fans are having one now.
Btw beating AJ is bigger than beating wilder .
