It all hinges on whether or not Vitali has a good camp & he hasn't lost too much of a step.

Honestly, if VK is 65-70% of what he used to be he should KO Peter, probably fairly early too, especially since Peter's style is come forward. That plays into Vitali's strength in countering.

In the Williams fight it looked as if Vitali had Danny ready to go in the first round.

Can't wait for this fight, I hope Vitali makes it through training camp this time.

I think people are underating Peter here, this fight should be very competitive. Peter is on the rise and there is no way Vitali will show up better than 80% of his former self.

If Rahman wins tonight Vitali will somehow get reinjured.

That's exactly what I'm thinking and I'm a fan of both. If Vitali shows up 60% or even 50% I'll pick him to win depending how well Peter handles his power but I'm really not predicting this fight based on a 60% or even 70% Vitali, it's actually 30% or 40% because of the long lay-off and injuries. Still though if Peter shows any signs of being hurt from Vitali's punches early then this fight is over with right there.

Exactly and I thought it would be over but as Williams keps getting up Vitali took his time and picked his punches freely because Williams had nothing to force Vitali to do anything he didn't have to.

I'm here, RUSKULL has opinions and neither I or Fourty will change them. Sam Peter must continue proving people wrong in the ring, as he been doing throughout his career. I feel Peter will be too much for Vitali, if in fact they do fight. Vitali has been out since December of 04, even his great chin has probably rusted over from the inactivity.

I see this fight being very competitive and extremely exciting, Peter will go after Vitali early, knowing he cant stay on the outside, he will try his best to rough up Vitali and let him know he's in for the fight of his life. I see both men landing bombs, and get rocked early on, it will be a total slugfest, but by the 6th round Samuel will land a huge overhand right out of nowhere that will etiher floor Vitali briefly or severely rock him, he will try to press on, but Samuel's intense killer instinct will prevent Vitali from getting a breath of fresh air, and the ref will wave off the fight.

The Vitali lovers will say the fight was stopped too prematurely, others will praise Peter and claim he's ready to fight Wlad again, to prove once and for all who's the best Heavyweight in the world.

:lol::lol: Are you describing the young Mike Tyson or Sam Peter who was barely moving around the ring against Maskaev? Peter will be breathing heavily by the 4th round.... if he doesn't get floored before.

Because regardless of belts, Vitali is the much bigger draw.

Anyone know what station it will be on? I keep hearing SHowtime, but if Maskaev-Peter was on HBO, then surely Klitschko-Peter has to be.

I actually hope it will become an exciting fight like you discribe regardless of the outcome.
If Peter does not take this seriously though and comes in somewhat out of shape i think hes getting a major asskicking.
