I can see his hype train coming towards us at full speed, especially after 1 fight on HBO ... they will start the talks about a mega fight with him.

I think he's going to be a good catch for some promotor ... possibly GBP or DKP ... or even DeBeila Entertainment.

Lord knows he doesn't need to go to TopRank or Gary Shaw Productions.

Don't count out Suyacuan or Warriors Seminole

Agreed. This is not good news at all. This is a disaster waiting to happen, frankly.

I agree, i can see comparisons regarding the hype just like katsidis:yep

His promotional company teiken promotions is already a big promoter, they also promote mma fights in japan as i've heard.

The thing is, knocking out people is still knocking out people. That means Valero has some serious power, so to discount him this early is just a tad bit understimating a puncher's chance in winning a fight. Granted, he hasn't fought any real competition, but he sure does have the physical gifts to get a lucky KO over many opponents.

thats great news!! i've seen a lot of his videos but is not really convinced yet. the only fighter in his resume that rings a bell was Mosquera...and he gave him troubles in that fight. Not underestimating Mos but he's not someone you would recall...hope he fights a big name soon..he already had too many tune ups and now is the time to showcase his supposed great talent.

    :rofl

This tuneup would be the end of Valero. I don't know about his medical condition, so I don't know whether it's right or wrong to allow him to fight. But the worst thing his team could do is put him in a "tune-up" against someone like Barrios. Valero is not even B level and his chin has already proven to be at least shaky. His team should continue to put him in against lower C levels and not step up to anything close to a challenge. Valero should wait until a big payday against Pac, which will be possible when Pac loses and needs an easy bounceback win.

put him in the ring with someone with a chin and a good gameplan and valero will get blown away.

by far the biggest name in his resume. is mosqera. he has a 50% ko ratio and he managed to drop valero. put valero in the ring with gamboa and we'll see the end of him
