Valero doesn't deserve Pacquiao. He certainly doesn't more than Bradley would at this point. Also, it's not like you can explain Arum's focus on Valero, along with an over the hill JMM and disgraced Margarito, as a potential candidate for Pacquiao's next fight on marketability. Valero is hardly a name in the United States. If they did it in Dallas again, he's at least Latino, but he's not a Mexican. I'm not sure how much currency being Venezuelan carries down there with the Latino fans.

We all know what Valero brings to the table. He lives and dies by the knockout. Yes, that upright stance with chin pointed to the heavens annoys the hell out of me! But he's supremely confident in those two hollow-point fists of his and isn't really concerned about what his opponents are gonna do. I was somewhat impressed with Valero's last fight with DeMarco. He wasn't able to put his man down--all credit to DeMarco--and showed an ability to be patient, not to mention deal with that horrendous gash to his forehead. Valero showed something different that night.

Peterson is no DeMarco. Come on man! Now rearrange the question and ask yourself what has Valero done that makes you think he is a top dog at a weight class he has never fought at?:huh

I love Valero as a fighter and his great heart in the ring but I see bradley winning this fight on a decision. Valero is not even on Pacs level yet. Pac would knock him out probably in 3 or 4 rounds at this point.

Valero is a two division champion. You automatically become a top fighter at the new weight since you have become a world champion at the lower weights... Check boxing history...

I have to see PAc ko Valero to believe it...because right now Valero gives anyone trouble at 140...including PAc.

In my mind, I can see Valero KO'ing Bradley somewhere between the 8th and 10th round in an explosive fight where both men will be dropped. Bradley is gonna drop some serious leather on Valero but isn't gonna have the power to take him out, as Valero has a very underrated chin. I believe that Bradley is the faster and stronger man but is hittable and that's where the trouble for him will begin because Valero has bonafide stone hands. Both men's will is unquestioned. It's a firefight in the truest sense.

Valero won't let you tie him up. He has fast hands. He can hit with both hands, and he goes to the body. Bradley doesn't have a prayer lol...

Ok I see you're new around these parts. Rule#1. Be accurate with points that you make. Both guys wills are tested. For Bradley to be visciously knocked down in round 1 against Holt and comeback and dominate is a test of will. For Valero to disregard a gash in his last fight and continue like it's not there is a test of will. I notice you said Bradley is hittable as though he doesn't have defense. Just watch some of his fights. He may not be Floyd but he ain't no Corrales. Valero is much more hittable.
