I'm interested in what happens to Valero when he gets taken into the late rounds by someone who knows what they're doing. He's a warrior, a banger, and a real handful, but I suspect that when he comes up against someone who's a great counter-punching outfighter he may blow himself out and get taken late on, or by UD. He's only been passed the fifth round four times, and only passed the eighth once. The open question for me is whether DeMarco is that person. I'm not sure. I can see this going both ways to be honest. Good fight.
hmm says . . . Valero... Demarco still isn't a somebody to me but I won't be surprised if he pulls an upset.
DeMarco's scheme of staying outside and boxing sounds good on paper but he's a Mexican fighter. As such, I believe all that plan is gonna go down the drain when he gets hit hard. He falls into Valero's trap and gets destroyed while trying to slug it out. Don't underestimate Valero's ability to play it calm and be a counterpuncher. He can do this very well if he wants or needs to. Either way, can't wait for tommorro night!.
I think Valero is too much for DeMarco. But i'm not saying that DeMarco has no chance. If he will box Valero beautifully and use his reach specially in first half of the fight, DeMarco will have a chance.
With the fight being in Mexico I would be really surprised if DeMarco doesn't get drawn into a slugfest he cant win .
I agree Valero hasn't been tested and I think that if Demarco Keeps it close the first 6 rounds he can win a decision
Valero in 6. Demarco isn't a good enough boxer to keep Valero away and his defence is very leaky. He also loves to brawl and again sub par fighters he was able to box but that won't happen vs Valero.
If the fight goes past 8 rounds i wouldn't be surprised to see Demarco winning on points, i would love to see how Valero acts in the late rounds since he isn't familiar to the territory but still I'm saying Valero 5th or 6th round stoppage, both big punchers but Valero is the stronger.
