I will go with Valero and it seems that experience will be the issue thou the question was the opposition of Valero but I think it will be a good fight since gamboa had good boxing skills... for Gamboa he should gain more experience since he is a good prospect for future P4P.
Valero beated Honmo as well who was rated within top15 by fightnews at the time they fought. Don't underrate Valero.. Still, my pick is Gamboa by TKO within 3 rounds.
Gamboa is going to pull a nate campbell (when he faced Peden) ... keeping those hands down - he's just asking to get hit ... like Lennox said ... a fast way for him to unlearn that bad habit is to get knocked out and Valero would be the man to do it ...
yeah juarez was on that squad. The only good fighter that came out of there was taylor. i remember there being A LOT of hype about lacy though. I remember reading an article in SI about lacy hitting the hardest out of that whole squad. Anyone remember HBO broadcasting all the olypmians at once on there shows? They need to do that again. They didnt even do that with the 2004 team in which andre ward was a part of.
I think it would be a good fight. But it's too early for Gamboa. He needs at least a couple more fights before he can take on Valero.
A hype Train Collision course!! it would be a Treat for Boxing either way. Seperate the weak & the obsolete.
You're a joke. You're quick to point out Gamboa's flaws when he's infintely more skilled than Valero. Valero has power, without it he would literally be a bum.
I never said gamboa does not have mad skills, it's his showboating with his hands down at his ankles that will get him ko against a puncher like valero... Ps. Sorry I pissed you off about your boyfriend
