I would prefer Soto over Katz as the next opponent for Valero.

Soto is comparably more fundamentally sound and disciplined than Katsidis, and may have equal power in their punches. He would present a real solid threat than what "the Great" can offer.

If Valero can beat Soto, I would be a believer, and would consider him a legit threat to Pac and JMM. Until then, I consider him a crude headhunter who is waiting to be KO'd because of his porous defense, regardless of his 25-O KO record.

valero will always have the punchers chance, its not like guzman is some super fast invisible fighter that will never be tagged in a 12 round fight.

Would Soto be willing to leave his current post as the top super featherweight to take on a still relatively unknown Valero though?

Guzman by wide UD. Valero would be exposed.

Bad style matchup for Valero. Guzman is obviously going to come in with the same game plan he had for Soto... Flurry, run, flurry, run, flurry, run and it's going to be a stinker, guaranteed. Bad fight.

Arum is a smart man and i doubt he'll put Valero in with Gamboa..
