Tough call.....Kat has the edge in overall level of comp and experience at this level with his fight with Casa in which he did very well. But I think Talent wise and overall ability would favor Valero. Hard to call but I might just lean towards Ed.

puahahahhahahha Valero vs Katsidis?? KAtsidis the journeyman would get beaten into retirement by Valero, no joke. There's a high chance that he could get a brain damage.

He's no Journeyman thats for sure......

I can see him getting knocked out cold though, Earl put him out on his feet, Casamayor sent him southwards.

    Whats next?

im going with valero, if he keeps his cool and doesnt expect to get kats out of there straight away + doesnt get overwhelmed by kats pressure, he will take him out like boom_boom said mid rounds 5,6 or 7

you don't have to be that high on a guy to have him beating Katsidis

Indeed, if that was Valero that landed flush on Katsidis instead of Casamayor it would have been over in the first round.

Yeah got your point, but Valero hasnt really fought anybody bot Mosquera so aint sold yet to the hype. Katsidis in a war/. i might be wrong though

Katsidas has faced better opposition no doubt but

the mosquera win for valero is better than any of the wins Katsidas has.

The thing is, I can easily flip this statement of yours around and use it against Valero as well.

Valero is also very hittable and has limited boxing skills. I don't think he's faster either. Look how Katsidis was getting in with his shots against the slick Casamayor.

Valero was also rocked and put down early against a relatively light-puncher in Mosquera as well. Casamayor >> Mosquera.

See both have the same flaws, but Katsidis is proven at 135 and has proven power at that weight as well. Valero, on the other hand, is not. I don't even think he's power is proven at 130 since he never fought the top guys there. Styles also favor Katsidis.

So yes. The thought of Katz KTFOing Valero is very possible mate.
