Valero will be great, just not yet

    It's too early to tell at this point. Most of the improvements he would need are mainly based on his defense or lack thereof. If Alcazar can tighten up his defense and propensity to leave his chin in the air I think he'll go far. Even flawed technically as he is Valero could still defeat everyone at 135 so long as he can land on his opponent. Every punch he throws has knockout written on it. If he was throwing just for speed he would probably be even quicker.

    Paul Williams was totally unproven with a padded record to boot yet managed to edge a battled tested veteran like Margarito so it is possible especially when you have knockout power in both hands along with bad intentions.
