Who, Duva? Yeah, he seems like a little bit of a hard ass, especially when he called out Toney during a press confrence, if I'm not mistaken, Toney went after him in the ring, after his lose with Peter. :yep

Yeah, but all promoters are bad, you will see in a couple years how bad "Goden Boy" is going to be, it's only a matter of time before a fighter takes him to court for taking more than they should. The only thing good about getting with King is, he will get you a title chance faster and more times than any other promoter out there, just ask Ruiz and Golota.

Unfortunately, I cannot disagree with you there. GBoys are already starting to show the negative signs. However, they've got long to go to get to king's level.

I was giving Lyakhovich a pretty good chance before, but after seeing the weighin I'm giving him very little to no chance.. especially since he needs to win rounds clearly to win a decision, not just do enough to win. Close rounds will be going to Valuev in Germany.

True, but Golden Boy has only been in business for a couple years, when King dies, Oscar is going to be the main promoter in boxing.

We'll see how it plays out. My opinion is that Valuev is finished and Chagaev found the formula to beat him. Liakovich is a bit more skilled than Chagaev.

The scary part is Valuev look's in shape from that pic. Seems slimmer or is that deceiving?

I picked Lyakhovich but that doesnt look encouraging.

    Lyakhovich 250... SAY WHAT?

I haven't decided yet who to pick until this moment because I'm very confident that a prime Serguei at a natural location would win EASILY. However the Lyakhovich of the 2008 is very inactive and you can't forget the horrible decisions in the Valuev-Donald & Ruiz fights and of course the ridiculous draw by one judge in the Chagaev fight. In fact I had the Bergeron fight a draw or Valuev by 1 point at it was like 118-110...

But it's an easy decision now. A very inactive and very fat, under-trained and seemingly unmotivated Lyakhovich loses by decision or by stamina-KO.

This will be a horrible fight and unluckily for me I will be able to watch it live in the TV.

    Horrible fight.

I totally disagree with you about both subjects.

Why would Valuev be finished??? He was never beat up or badly Ko'd, hell he has not even been hurt so far.

I also think that Chagaev is more skilled than Lyachovich with a much better chin.

Lyakhovich never been fit. This pic doesn't tell much. Long layoff could have shifted his `in-shape' weight. If his walk weight was heavier for a year he might get used to it. And 10 pound is not that much for him.
