This is not true. Evander is a great boxer even now.

Do you have any CLEAR proof where most of fans would agree that a boxer got robbed in Germany?

Maybe us guys here on ESB can band together and throw some $$'s Evanders way so he doesn't have to fight.

**** Valuev for taking this fight. Him and his promoters should be ashamed of thereselves.

    I'll be watching though!

i got love for holyfield, but enough's enough. i mean, he's so old he don't need a mouthpiece because he takes his dentures off. what is holy trying to prove? even if he got past mount valuev he'll get murdered by any of the klits. at least holyfield-golota would be a more evenly matched fight, but valuev will drop holyfield with his stinky breath before the fight even starts. blasphemy

This isn't just a bit sick this is completely insane!

Wtf? Valuev - v - Holyfield that's just wrong, the old bible basher is BEYOND washed up, he's now in the realm's of pension -hood.

But incidently. Do you think the "Holy" in Holyfield is a metophor for his divinity?

If Golota didn't hurt his arm, he would have loosened up & broken that grapefruit Austin has for a head.

    **** this.:fire[/quote]

I wouldn't be surprised if his entrance song for Valuev was "Aint no mountain high enough"

Holy could only manage 25 punches a round against Ibragimov, 25 punches a round, people...and he only landed 58 in the whole 12. 58. That's not even 5 a round landed...one of the lowest tallies Compubox ever recorded for a 12-round heavyweight fight, 20 less than his blowout loss to Donald even. Only Sultan's overcaution made it look closer than it was, and even then we're talking 10-2 or 9-3 close.

No doubt he'll find Valuev an easier target, and will be able get off more, but Holy's simply not capable of fighting for more than about 30 seconds of a round anymore. Valuev disappointed me against Ruiz, after improvement against Liakhovich and Bergeron he seemed to have regressed, but so long as he can master the art of jabbing, leaning all over Holy in the clinch and walking then he can win it on points.

But it's not the physical contest that concerns me about all this, I don't even think it's unreasonable to think Holy can win it. Much more important is that Holyfield-Valuev really makes me sick for the sport. Holy's done nothing, absolutely nothing to warrant this and Valuev looks like a joke for fighting him. Worse, apparently the big guy doesn't even want to, it's Sauderland pushing it...but regardless, Valuev will get the stick. Those cheering on Holy, bear in mind all this will earn him is the inevitable career-ending beating, if not from Valuev than from one of the Klitschkos...this is no 'win a belt then ride off into the sunset' effort, a title win gives Holy all the motivation he needs to carry on through more losses.

    Personally speaking - TKO5 Po'uha, UD10 Witherspoon, UD12 Mollo.

Jetski is one of the worst nuthuggers I have ever seen. There was no bad luck in this fight. Ray Austin was in shape and is two levels above a fighter like Mike Mollo, who Golota went life and death with. Golota got his ass beaten, plain and simple. He was pressured, he panicked, and he broke down again. Golota doesn't need to fight anymore and his fans shouldn't want to see him in the ring against someone like Valuev. He needs to retire before he gets seriously hurt.
