Yes, very true. I think that Ruiz appears to be in line for another title shot at Valouev. What has Ruiz done for such a title shot? Good point indeed.

The only thing that Ruiz has done is signing with Don King. Valuev should get rid of Don King's paws.

What a bunch of crap. No heavyweight champ should EVER turn down an opportunity to fight other top fighters. That's not the warrior spirit at all. I'm still waiting for the WBA to overturn Valuev's fight with Holyfield and strip him of that fake title he's got.

That is a ****ing joke. Valuev is in top shape because he trained until 4 days ago to fight Chagaev. Bull**** Don King contracts. The WBA is ****ing pathetic.

Not fair to **** all over Valuev when he has no say in who he fights, that's his managements decision

I'm sorry but Valuev is 10 times the ***** Haye will ever be, at least Haye has looked to challenge himself every step of the way so far in his career.

Yes this is true IMO he will only fight A Klit when he is ready to quit boxing. The guy didn't want to fight Kali Meehan last weekend

Not even a tiny bit surprised.

Valuev does not give the impression of a man with much ambition beyond what his promoters tell him.

Was it his decision or his manager's?

valuev was training for a small southpaw so how could he possibly fight w. klitschko now? a much better replacement would be chagaev.

I can understand his team saying he's been training for a small southpaw - but it's not as though Valuev and Haye are similar in style (or in any way whatsoever) and I think Wlad would have taken this fight.
This was a great opportunity for Valuev - he and the WBA are becoming more irrelevant by the day.
He had a chance to make something of his worthless career but I guess we'll have to make do with a third fight against Ruiz *shudder*
