I think Valuev realizes that Wladimir is simply too quick for him and would be the first guy that he fights that actually has the power to hurt him and bring him down. Smart man, but if that's the attitude, I question his profession.
According to Steve Bunce on Steve Bunces boxing hour he could have fought Kali Meehan or Lamon Brewster of the underacard. IMO thats disgraceful- he's fought enough opponents to be able to adjust to fighting a orthodox and has disspaointed fans and the underacrd fighters, unless they fought. Plus its annoying if you have Setanta.
When will you guys see through this Valuev fraud already?, this guy needs robberies to compete with ancient Holyfield and soon Mercer or even McCall. He WON'T fight guys that his promoter doesn't have some kind of deal with and if he does then a robbery is set to keep the circus show going.
