Why the hell not? Is there anything else to watch? It's boxing. Of course I'll watch it, crap or not.

Compared to Valuev's previous displays, this was one of his best, if not the best.

On a whole I thought it was a pretty decent fight too, if not a bit onesided but certainly not boring as the Chagaev-Skelton fight last.

Let's cut the crap. The fight was rubbish. I will be watching a decent fighter later: Taylor vs. Pavlik. Please do not suggest that my mind is simple because I voiced my opinion on a **** fight. No need for the insults.

Valuev is a tough night for any heavyweight. His combination of size and strength- and his jab- is more than enough for just about all of the division. Exciting? Maybe not. Effective? Absolutely.

And don't give that tired thread about how bad the division is. There's a lot of money to be made at the top. I find it hard to believe all those vying for it are crap. If it's so damn easy, jump in the fray.

I dont think Valuevs the one to blame for a boring fight, Liakhovich was the one that had the Tommy Morrison like body in there, and landed maybe 25% of his punches, while Valuev landed at a high rate of around 55%.

nothing wrong with valuev v lykahovich as a spectacle .

i did not find it boring , in fact it was a clean ,technical ,decent paced heavyweight fight with little clinching and the ref was hardly seen, yes it was a shutout, but lykahaovich kept trying .

I agree. Valuev didn't make this fight boring. The Wolf did. Well for others that is. I thought the fight was not bad rly i enjoyed it.

The only reason the topic starter made this thread is becouse he figures that such a massive guy like Valuev should be ko'ing guys like Liach and not letting it go the distance. This was actually a EXCITING Valuev fight. This fight showed a lot of new things about the big guy. And his jab seems pretty solid.

Valuev dominated and fought very well. I expect Valuev to beat Chagaev in a rematch.
