Honestly, Meehan seems to have better success with Brewster than he has with any of the other high ranked Heavies. I think he and Brewster used to train together a lot, so that would explain why. He knows Brewster really well. Overall I think Brewster does a lot better against a higher level of competition than Meehan does. That being said, I would love to see Meehan pull it off. In a neutral venue, with Valuev getting slower and slower and if Meehan pulled of his absolute best performance he could actually win. I don't think he will win though. I think Meehan will go down in history as being a respectable journeyman/gatekeeper style fighter (who may not even have been this in a stronger era). Valuev is a decent fighter - not good, definitely not great, but a solid "B" type of fighter. Meehan is a "B minus" on a good day. (Or maybe Valuev is a C+ and Meehan only a C)
Lets hope Kali can knock the freak out because we all know hes not likely to get a decision regardless of how well he does.
Chagaev should do us a favour and infect Valuev with the ol' hepatitis. Would be a glorious day for the HW division if Valuev was finally put out of action.
