Ruiz never been heavyweight champion, with having a mere one fourth of the title.

But I think Valuev will beat Ruiz again, if this fight happens.

.....if Ruiz just stands there and blocks punches with his head.

Let me put it like this: I don't like Valuev, and I think he didn't deserve the win against Ruiz in their first fight... that said, I hope Valuev knocks out Ruiz in a very brutal way.

On second thought... IF Toney wins against Rahman and looks good - and gets another shot at a title, Ruiz would be the only possible beltholder he could beat at this stage of his career.
So maybe I should root for Ruiz nevertheless - did I just write that??

Remind me people, how many other heavyweights out there have beaten as many top 10 fighters as Ruiz?

Nobody wants to see Valuev-Ruiz part 2.

Plus there is no money to be made in this fight.

That is not many. Real fighters fight anyone. I hope Ruiz wins. If Valuev wins, he is going to hold and milk he belt, but somebody already said Ruiz was never a champion by holding one belt so this fight is not for a championship. Yet, Ruiz was the one that begged for a HW tournament.

RIght. Ruiz is no longer with Don King, as I understand it.

So Ruiz winning would be more conducive to further unification, and that should be the main priority, in my opinion.

Ruiz seems game to fight anyone.

That said, I think we'll see Valuev winning again, as he has improved his game since he won the first fight.

If that happens then Valuev will recapture the belt he lost without much problem.

    Just my opinion. :D
