It's a big misconception that Winky took the 12th off against Taylor just because he thought he was winning. That's what they said on the HBO Countdown show but Winky took the 12th off because he was beginning to feel Taylor's power in the later rounds and didn't want to risk getting hurt. Winky is the same guy who whined about every decision that didn't go his way and said he beat Europe's best fighters when he fought there  Which top level Euro's did he beat?

Definitely overlooked as both a fight and a victory. This was a solid bout. A young, hungry power puncher against an established elite boxer.

Wonky wright clearly won the fight. Vargas was out of shape and got a boxing lesson.
