On the one hand, good. Hate to see these guys go through another unnecessary war, entertaining though it might be (assuming Marquez isn't toast).

On the other hand, what the **** is wrong with that HBO guy that he would be lukewarm on picking up a piece of the most epic fight saga of all time??

Hopefully Marquez or Vasquez will now fight Cabellero-Molitor winner or JuanMa.

Dan Rafael from ESPN explained it by saying that some fights are just branded to certain networks and thats the way it goes . . .

He said while Barrera/Morales and Gatti/Ward are HBO fights or series, Corrales/Castillo and Vazquez/Marquez are just Sho fights and its the way it is . . . Hope that helps

I can live without seeing these two end eachother's careers. Trouble is, 122 is deep as hell and JuanMa is a monster, so their alternatives aren't exactly pretty.

I wonder does Izzy test the waters at 126...

This is bitter-sweet to me. On one hand another war would've possibly had irreprable damage to both of them and as huge fans of both, That would've sucked. On the other of course this would've been a big pay day for both guys (definitely the biggest of their respective careers) so that's a little disappointing. Hopefully both guys get good paydays in their next fights.
