Bad news for the UFC. JDS v Cain is the UFC heavyweight division. Guess the Carwin fight could be interesting for 5 minutes. Sad state of affairs. I guess heaveyweights in boxing and MMA just cant be considered to be the 'glamour' division anymore. 'Name' fighters who cant agree terms to fight, and prospects that aint exactly setting the world on fire. Thank God for the WEC merger I guess, the only good thing to come with disbanding that org is we get exciting fights to hopefully save the UFC cards from garbage heaveyweight match ups (see Cro Cop v Mir or Kongo v Browne)
Both Lesnar vs. Carwin and Lesnar vs. Mir II were unification fights with an interim championship. If they did another interim title, it would be the third since 2008...
