This match is risky for the health and well being of Hooker, I really wish they'd scrap this match. See what Ramrez did to Orozco, then look at what Ortiz did to Orozco. While triangle theories don't always work. Look what Ramirez did to Hooker, not what do you think Ortiz, who is better in every way, shape and form, than Ramirez, will do to him. Holy ****.:scared1 It's mortifying to even contemplate.

Thinking ortiz is a larger Ramirez

Ramirez is a proven level above ortiz hence I vote decision not stoppage

Hooker is good enough to expose ortiz if hes a pretender I look forward to this

    :deal:

This is one trick it would be advisable for this Hooker to give a miss.

I got Ortiz within 9 rounds.
    Hooker can catch him though.
I’d like to see if Ortiz can get off the canvas & put him away like we just saw Ryan G do.

Hooker does always the opposite of what i think he does.
I think, he will lose, which is a good sign for him.

Maurice Hooker only chance to win is in the opening round when his body is still fresh, Hooker reach advantage can be used to violate Ortiz defense in the first round, pushing punches through G-Man style, but he has to be willing to take shots coming in. KO1/TKO1 is the only scenario where Hooker can upset Ortiz. If the fight goes past the first round, 100% chance that Ortiz will KO/TKO Hooker

...and if Vergil was glassy enough to leave the door ajar for that, we probably would've caught a whiff by now.

Well, I said he'd beat Flanagan and Lespierre, thought the Saucedo match was a toss up (they both went down), and that Ramirez would destroy him. So..... I have a better than average track record when it comes to Hooker. Ortiz is going to destroy him.:deal:

If Maurice Hooker optimizes his larger frame & good speed for punching, he will be able to land something that ends the fight immediately vs Oritz, it has to be done full-throttle at the opening bell before Vergil Ortiz starts consuming his body & soul. This can also result in an early KO1 stoppage of Maurice Hooker if he overreaches and Ortiz catches him with anything coming in, which is a risk he can afford get stopped in one round is much better than absorbing an elaborate ritual beatdown.

If Ortiz is the high-potential fighter a lot of us seem to think, he should come out of this with flying colors. Pre 8th round KO for me please.

I like hooker...but I don't see this going past the 4th..not powerful enough or slick enough to keep Ortiz off him...seeing a pretty heavy ko here but I hope not..it's a shame when you see decent fighters get flattened early cos of bad style matchups
