Resume is important but to me that is more related to deciding if a guy should be in the Hall of Fame or where there should be in the rankings.

Related to top fighters there are two kinds. Those who've faced other top fighters and those who haven't. If they have faced top fighters then the results of those fights tell you what you need to know. Most think Bud hasn't faced the top fighters so, for guys like that, you have to decide for yourself how good they are. For me, that's where the eye test comes in to play. Everything about Crawford screams that he's going to beat your butt if you fight him. Of course, he is going to be 36 later this year so time is running out on the back end of his prime.

It doesn't matter, because Crawford will never fight him. Just like he will never fight Spence. He will retire and his name will barely ever be mentioned again outside of Omaha. That is his fate unless he changes absolutely everything about his approach to boxing and how he selects opponents.

This is straight up bull****. There’s nothing whatsoever to suggest Crawford would be able to swerve a mandatory. He’s not even with Arum anymore so he won’t get any special treatment from WBO.

Whether It’s his own decision or Oscar’s, Ortiz avoided Crawford to fight Stanionis for the WBA regular belt.

Nope, maybe in 2 more years when Crawford is older. Right now, Crawford beats him.
