there so many stories over the internet about why the beef started like victor ****ed brandons girl but bam bam denied that. the one that seems to add up from everyone on rios' side is that victor left the camp and started talking **** about the garcia family, which is some bad **** to do especially after they adopted him. overall i think victor has the more skill, the maidana fight was a lesson for him and i think his fight vs berto will be a huge fight for him win or lose. brandon is doing better than probably most expected and if he continues could have a far better career than victor, he seems to be more dedicated to boxing and its showing. also brandon is being looked after far better and has come up the ranks the right way as he's been matched well by top rank, wheras ortiz has been ****ed by golden boy who havn't yet proved that they know how to make a young talented fighter into a great one.

i often dont judge guys in their losing performance but how they come back from it, if they come back improved and willing to prove their doubters wrong then i'm a fan. listen to ortiz's and khan's interview after the losses, ortiz said "im too young to be hit like that, i'm not taking shots like that for nobody" he quit in a fight he was winning, khan said something aloong the lines of "i made a few mistakes in there and he capitalized, i just have to go back to the drawing board and try harder" khan lost because of something he couldn't help, his chin. khan came back and fought malignaggi (the fight that changed me from a hater as paulie is one of my favorite fighters), Kotelnik and the one who made ortiz quit Maidana and beat him, he's looking to take on the division king Bradley soon too. while ortiz looked gunshy and ***** footed around feather fisted lamont peterson, the shitter peterson brother.
Lamont is actually the more talented and durable peterson brother, but your right Ortiz had the fight in the bag and just let it slip away from him.
