Ortiz does what he should have(almost did) in the first fight.. He knows Maidana and he knows, his weakness and stengths... Ortiz fights smart he wins this easy.. I thik hell shine in that fight.

Ortiz was too wet behind the ears for a warrior like Maidana, yet still almost beat him. I don't think he was ready for that kind of war, he figured he was gonna roll through him. He knows better now and after the Berto fight, he's back proper mentally.

I don't think it will as easy as most are suggesting. But I'd love to see him get revenge

Funny how within one week Maidana went from a loved fan favoirte and one of the more popular active fighters to Overrated and given a controversial decision over an ESB god (Morales.) From Hot to Cold

WHere as a week ago Ortiz was regulary insulted and clowned.. Was one of the most idsliked fighters......... Now Ortiz is hot every one has forgiven him, and now looks like hes gonna live up to all the hype that some thought was undeserved. From Hated to admired and respected in one fight.

Lamont Peterson might as well get another crack at Ortiz then. I wouldn't mind seeing both Maidana or Peterson rematch.

It seems that thats boxing, one fight changes everything.
I still think maidana is a big force at 140 and ortiz belongs at 147/154, he was always a dark horse though because he had potential but lacked the right mentality. Now I think he has good fights at 147 lined up, no need to rematch maidana, let him do his job at 140.

Ortiz would have won the first fight if he didn't mentally quit and bailout.

Looks like Ortiz conquered his demons and I definitely see him destroying Maidana in a rematch.

ortiz would have won if he didn't quit. I think at 147 he beats maidana rather easily. Would be a fun fight again.

Alexander has the same questions being asked of him that Ortiz had, because he quit against Alexander and looked terrible against Kotelnik. Matthysse may KO Devon.

Don't see Ortiz going back to 140, but would love to see the rematch. I think Ortiz has the confidence/experience to deal with what Maidana brings in a rematch.
