Couldn't agree more. This fight goes until Ortiz is stopped by punches or quits from fear.

ortiz is a skillful fighter dont get me wrong, i kinda like him but its ridiculous how since the loss gbp have been matching him up with completely shot fighters.

I'd take Cotto by an accumulation stoppage, but he'd definitely have to show his heart here. Ortiz can ****ing crack.

No doubt he has some ability. He just has a glass heart to go with it.

Cotto was getting kind of chinny towards the end of his 140 days, the weight was killing him. I think he would have enough to handle Ortiz at any point at that weight though.

Interesting matchup. i'd lean towards Cotto in this one because of his heart.

Before Cotto was struggling to make weight, I say he survives some scary moments of getting rocked to prevail in devastating fashion. Although Ortiz CAN box and CAN hit. He's no pushover by any means. I just think he breaks first. His will is still questionable and his durability. More so than Cotto's often questioned durability. Cotto is a guy who tends to look more vulnerable than he ends up being.

I think it would be a very competetive fight early on due to Ortiz athletic ability and his skills are not that bad eather. I think he could win the first two or three rounds even, but i think that Cotto starts slowing Ortiz down around the middle rounds, and really starts putting the hurt on Ortiz down the stretch, and i think hes able to get a fairly competetive decision victory of Ortiz.

Cotto would **** Ortiz harder than inmates would **** floyd in prison. Cotto was a beast at 140.

Cotto would eat him alive. People think Cotto was some sort of pussycat at 140, he hit like a mule and despite having chin issues, he was a great boxer and handed Malignaggi his ass, which not many people do.
