    there was an article saying that end of may would be an ok date for arum.

    they booked may 5th for the canelo fight. so what's wrong with moving the date 2 or 3 weeks later? i'll tell you what's wrong, because schaefer and floyd has their eye set on canelo before hand.

    Come on now pugi, its a well known fact that arum doesnt wanna do business with floyd, so no way is he going to fight any top rank fighters.

    Besides if it makes money, it makes sense

    i agree that canelo is a big money fight. but it's time for floyd to fight somebody like martinez or even cotto if he doesn't want to fight pacquiao.

    but quoting floyd, "legacy don't pay bills", so i understand that he would not be too concerned with fighting the best.

    Martinez should be fighting at 168 let alone 160 or 154 :yikes

    So that leaves canelo.

    He keeps bringing up November which I really wouldn't have a problem with if they had actually already signed a contract for it. He knows full well that Mayweather fights only once a year. Next Winter arrives and BOOM! Mayweather is made to look like a duck for not fighting. The games never end.

    Arum needs to guarantee us the fight for November. Otherwise he's bluffing because we know that he KNOWS Mayweather isn't likely to fight twice in 2012.

    it would either be bradley or peteson.

    arum would want the mayweather fight to happen in november.

    Mayweather will be in jail for 3 months,June,July,August.

    So he will only have September and October to train,this is bull**** they should do the fight in May,its obvious that they are trying to have an advantage again thats what they always do.
