Jean Claude Van Dam would have made a better Rocky.

They could remake Rocky fifty times, with fifty different lead actors, the best 50 male actors around, and every single one of those remakes would be worse than the original.

Not interested in seeing Creed Jr. fighting some guy that we’ve never seen or mentioned before. Want to see him fighting Ivan Drago himself, not his son. Yeah Dolph is old but he’s still a massive guy who stayed in good shape.

Rocky 5 is absolute trash. If we are rating it, it is 1 out of 5 stars. No entertainment and dreadful production and story.

Rocky 4 is my favorite sequel, essentially even with number 2.

Never saw any of the movies when they were released in the cinema and to be honest, can’t see much difference between the original film and the second, myself yet the first one is rated as a classic even by lots of non boxing fans and Rocky II, just a pale imitation.

He’s fine as a action film actor. I don’t know what people expect of him as an actor?

BTW. a dream matchup from the series would be Clubber Lang vs Ivan Drago.

I used to love the Rocky movies when I was a kid/teenager but I don't think I've seen any of them since then. Not a big fan of Stallone but First Blood is my favourite of his.

1976 film by a mile, Oscar worthy film

III and IV for classic 80s goodness, and II to round out the original set

Then all the rest, some definitely worse than others

My favorite has to be number 3
    Then 4
    1
    5
    Creed
    Balboa
    2
I seriously think that the second film was the slowest and most boring

What i never liked about the Rocky films, especially 3 and 4 was wtf happened to Clubber Lang and Drago after Rocky beat them? They were beasts! They wouldve made comebacks and gone for the rematch or fought each other. Lol! Thats what i thought as a kid. That **** drove me nuts but i loved the first 4 Rocky films as therye all great in their own way and insanely entertaining. Doesnt get enough credit as one of the better movie trilogies/franchises in history.

I think Rocky broke Drago mentally. Doubt he ever would have ever been the same again. Also, we know he had power, but he was stiff, his chin was okay, but I think even that was a little suspect, first time it got tested he was shaken, then he lost his head and turned the fight into a brawl, playing right into Rocky's hands, when he should have used his massive reach advantage, before eventually hitting the canvas and not getting up.

So exposed and humiliated in front of a home crowd in Moscow against a past his prime Rocky Balboa, and broken mentally, maybe he could have carried on beating B level fighters, but what's the point?
