For Floyd. See Castillos excellent mid boxing jab to offset him

For Broner, youtube his fight with Ponce.

    On topic,

I really think you have just proved other peoples point -

Garcia says Rios 'killed' himself to make the weight, wheras it was clear in the example of Broner that he didnt really try.

    Thats the difference.

Garcia never claimed Broner didnt try.

were u in training camp with broner? do u know if he made 133 easily? no, you dont. u assume. u know nothing about his body.

do u even try to consider that he is a GROWING 22 year old? does that sink in your head?

really i could give a ****. he won the fight and hes moving up. case closed.

    :huh

    What about it?

    One tried, one didnt.

 - If anything - that proves my point even more, Broner was close to the limit and he didnt even try to sweat it

He shouldnt sign for fights he cant make the limit for. Thats what being professional is all about.

Your right, case is mostly closed. But this is a boxing forum to discuss aspects of boxing.

I assume he didnt try. You reject that saying I dont know.

Garcia assumes he did try. You accept it.

Broner is still growing and he can fight at MW for all we care. I just don't think most fans appreciate Broner coming in 3.5 pounds overweight while posting pics of himself eating **** in the lead up to the fight. These young fighters need to look to Bhop and Hagler for an example of what a professional is. You could never imagine either of those guys even missing weight let alone the way guys like Broner carry on like coming in 3.5 over is a joke.

he requested that it should take place @ 135. for some reason, Escobedo declined even tho he has fought @ lightweight numerous times. Broner obviously knew he'd have a hard time making 130 or else he wouldnt have made that request.

 no disrespect, but i value the opinion of a great trainer who has worked with fighters with weight issues(Rios). i would imagine he has a better understanding of what fighters go thru in training than a random dude on ESB speaking on a guys body u know nothing about.

in other words, who the **** are u?

    just sayin. :good
