:deal They are immune to the truth. Manny fans see Mayweather in one light and one light only. They even ignore all of the skeletons in Manny's closet. Both are men with great talent and complicated lives. Why can't we just enjoy what they do in the ring?
trash talk should be done on the court not outside. also, i have seen jordan's speech and it sucks. i know how he called kwame a flaming ****** and that ultimately may have destroyed his confidence. i have read playing for keeps and i know how much of an ego he has. krause was an ******* himself, so no surprise if they ever did clash. still does not make a difference. michael jordan is who he is, that is his personality. makes you wonder, granted the media knows this, michael is still not nearly as disliked as floyd.
what manny has in his closet has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with floyd's. so stop dragging other people when floyd is under scrutiny.
I thought I didn't made myself clear. I was right, I didn't made myself clear. I'm not talking about whether his presumptions are justified or not. You think it's wrong, fine. I was being pedantic. He made the assumption that watching that 10 minute video wouldn't change his perception of Floyd based on his accumulated knowledge about the man. Ergo, he doesn't need to watch it. And I agree with him by the way, I didn't watch it. Think, if any of what you said happened in that video if would have made news and everybody would have known about it. If there's anything in that video worth noting there would be numerous threads made about it already. Take for example, a sincere apology from Floyd would be plastered all over ESB you wouldn't miss it even if you wanted too. But there's none of that isn't it? So the assumption that the video is irrelevant say, to me, with respect to my perception of Floyd is not unjustified considering what we know about him already. I'm tired of Floyd's antics. Unless it has something to do with making a genuine effort to make the Manny fight, or as you say a genuine effort to cure cancer, I'm not interested.
Yes it does. If you are judging character then judge all men just as harshly. The problem is you don't.
You are an expert in the subject able to to point out the finest pedigree of your preferred media topic. :thumbsup
So in other words: After claiming you wouldn't have been a fan of Jordan if you knew about the trash talking, and general assholery, you now say that you are, in fact, quite well aware of Jordan being a total asshat to other players and his front office (Krause/Reinsdorf) and gambling (and possible mob) affiliations. Yet, now that 'still does not make a difference' because 'that is who he is'. You don't see the contradiction there?
did jordan ever go on out the internet talking ****, insulting others, and making claims with no evidence whatsoever and fails to put up? that is far from verbally murdering your team mates for failing to step up.
This. I have actually met Floyd and he is a pretty cool guy. Everyone makes mistakes. What I can't stand is how people on this forum try to act like they are better than people (ex Mayweather). I honestly don't care what fighters do in their personal lives because the media will make you believe what they wan't anyway.
