Due to styles... sadly I think Hill takes the decision, even though overall Toney was the better fighter. It'd be a boring fight.

A great tactical match...... At 175, I'll take Hill....... At 200 + pounds, I'll pick Toney.....

Hill at 175, he would use his feet, jab and suprior feet to outbox Toney. At 190/200 is´t more difficult, Hill lost some speed and his legs were worse and even gone later on. This gives Toney a good shot, I take James by close decision there.
Hill was not a great but a very good fighter and a very nice person.

Toney to me was suprisingly spry and energetic at 217 pounds back in 2003. For a former middleweight, Toney looked impressive in eating some serious leather from a faded but strong Holyfield before wearing Holyfield out with skillful counters for a 9th round TKO victory.....

And, roids or no roids, Toney looked like a slob at 235 + or - pounds later in 2005 against John Ruiz for the WBA title......... BUT! Skillwise, Toney still had his act together as a tactical fighter against Ruiz........

I am a fan of James Toney, but I noticed his decline of ring-skills in 2006 when he waddled into the ring at 237 pounds for his draw with Hasbeen Rahman..... Toney really has not been the same since 2005........

Here in 2010, Toney is basically done as an elite fighter.... But Toney will hang around for a while looking for quick bread money...... The hell else is Toney gonna do???
