His fans fail to realize his lack of power, decline in speed, and reflexes. Eddie Chambers would have a field day with Vitali Klitschko if they fought because Chambers wouldn't have to worry about Vitali's speed and power. Povetkin, Haye, and even Adamek can possibly beat Vitali too.

Geez, the man only won every second of every round and just because it didn't look pretty he's over the hill.

Watch some old Tyson clips, yeah, right in his prime, watch him go the distance with people no better than Kevin Johnson simply because they stayed in survival mode all night. Watch some of Lennox Lewis' uninspired performances. No fighter ever looked spectacular in every fight.

Vitali Klitschko is not invincible, but in his whole career he's maybe lost half a dozen rounds and half of those were against Lewis. He always looks weird and unattractive when he has to come forward, because he apparently never had a true boxing education and nobody told him how to properly jab (not that this has been a disadvantage so far). So he always comes forward cautiously pawing with the left and looking to throw a right hand, never displaying the best feel for distance. He's much better going backwards, withdrawing from attacking opponents who run into his punches thrown from all angles. Which is why he looked spectacular against Peter, Gomez and Arreola. They were exactly what he wants.

But Eddie Chambers defeating him - how? Sure, Klitschko isn't the heaviest hitter (single punch), but neither is Chambers. In fact, Klitschko has managed to make 37 of 40 opponents quit, Chambers only did that to 18 of 36. So it had to be on points. And to reiterate, Klitschko has probably not lost 7 Rounds in his whole career, but Chambers is gonna win at least 7 against him. Yeah, right...

His only 2 losses are do to injury. So yes if you can injure him you can beat him but that is the only way. He is as close to unbeatable a fighter as there is in the Boxing World today. Mayweather would be the other.

    WTF?

He has a 90% stoppage ratio and 3 stoppages in 4 fights since his comeback. Lack of power?

He doesn't put the mustard on his punches that he once did, propably due to his accumulated injuries. But he has developed his own style of hitting guys with enough good shots that he grinds them down. He may not want to go on much longer, but if he wanted to, he could go on for several more years.

I am a Chambers fan too, and eagerly look forward to the day when he picksup a cruiserweight belt, or a heavyweight title from a lesser opponent. Hell, I hope he does both. He will not beat a Klit.

And that's my point, I thought if he was at 100% or close to what he was during his prime, he could of stopped Kevin Johnson. But it looked like Kevin Johnson wasn't even hurt. Chambers vs Vitali is 50/50. The one thing that vitali has going for him is his size, and Vitali uses his height and reach very well. If Chambers can still land punches to the head or body, I think he can beat Vitali.

It doesn't mean that he lacks power just because he happy to crusie whne he can. It just means he's become a smarter fighter who knows how to take care of himself.

I too, agree that Kevin Johnson is a slippery sum ***** who owns DEFENSIVE skills but LACKS offensive power..... Johnson made V.K. look off key cuz of his defensive skills........ Johnson is not a total *****......... He could beat a lot of rated dudes here in 2010.....
