Stiverne has power and boxing skill with a good chin. Vitali is in for a tough fight. He might lose. The Haitian Horror is coming! Vitali should Beware of Bermane Stiverne.
Arreola was too fat. Stiverne was in decent shape. He was far tighter than Arreola. Stiverne started nervous and cautious, kept a tight defense. Stiverne fought off the back foot, used a jab. Then at the end of round 3 he smashed Arreola with a monster shot and shattered Arreola's nose, dropped him to the floor. Arreola's nose bled for the rest of the fight. Stiverne would keep his tight defense,as well as RIP Arreola to the body all night. Arreola took many rounds off,got battered and nearly got dropped again in round 12. Arreola rocked Stiverne momentarily once pr twice but didnt have the energy to go for anything close to a knock down or knock out. Stiverne was impressive tonight I gotta say.
Did you just start watching boxing moron? Let me catch you up twitterboy. Lennow lewis, corrie sanders, sam peter & cristobal arreola are all big punchers. WTF are YOU talking about?
True! And Shannon Briggs is too although he was old. Briggs is still a huge puncher. he has the record for most first round KO's by a heavyweight. More than Dempsey or Tyson.
Arreola was on top for the first 2 rounds then got put down heavily which resulted in a broken nose. He got up but his stamina evaporated after that and was beaten easily despite showing decent heart. His usual high workrate and punch output despite being fat was clearly not the same after the broken nose. He just fought offensively with the odd flurry after that. Stiverne fought a good surprisingly intelligent fight, showed a nice jab and worked the body well and was landing his big right hook prety well throughout. The same punch that put Arreola down. Arreola's face was a mess after the fight.
It's funny. Because I actually give Stiverne the best chance of any opponent since Peter other than Solis and maybe the Arreola that Vitali fought.
I wonder how Vitali's body would react to those body punches Stiverne crippled Arreola with :think that said, Stiverne would get hammered by a healthy Vitali, mainly because he fights in spurts and takes long periods off during rounds, he also doesn't have very good defense
Cheers guys, i watched the first 1 round thinking someone was gonna get ktfo early but then the Judah fight was starting, when i checked boxrec and say UD12 for Stiverne I was in shock, might have to youtube it
Vitali has nothing to gain and if he wants to go on he has to fight Stiverne or lose the belt Stiverne brings nothing to the table but doing biz with Don King, I think Vitali should retire and let boxing move on and let his brother have some alone time in the spotlight as champ
A prime Vitali would have picked Siverne apart, even the new Stiverne we just saw, but Vittles has slowed considerably, and his punches don't have the same sting as before. That's very clear. If Arreola couldn't KD Stiverne, than neither can today's Vitali. It would either be a boring Vitali UD, or Stiverne would KO the big guy. My prediction: Vitali retires.
vitali is 41 yrs old/ legs and reflexes go in time bro.... he looked like shot against chisora who cant punch worth ****/ stiverne can
