Yes he is very old.40 is death sentence,every fight is dangerous for his health.Come on he wasn't lost single round vs Adamek and he is looking old,only because his number of age is 40.His performance was brilliant and I am not Klitschkos fan.
What about Haye, Stiverne, Valuev(hopefully) then Solis2. That'd be a helluva a final 4, and IMO cement him between #8-12 ATG.
Well i'm hoping solis will fight stiverne in a final eliminator. Valuev now has been gone too long to be considered as a legitimate opponent. Plus he's already lost to donald, ruiz, chagaev, holyfield and haye. The time for that fight has finished imo. Haye, povetkin then solis (assuming he's the mandatory at this point) that'd be a great finish imo. Not sure how i'd rank him, depends what wlad does in the same timescale.

Vitali didn't look any slower at all. I'm not sure where people are getting this from. If anything, he looked a bit faster than usual. I agree that Vitali *should* have gotten Adamek out of there a lot sooner than he did, but I don't think it was age that held him back. It seems to be a natural tendency he has to fight cautious even when he doesn't have to. Like he'd rather sacrifice the chance to land additional shots if he means he can avoid taking a shot or two. It's like the anti-Mexican style.

Mad Londoner is a hater of all boxers outside of England and whoever is a threat to Haye. Vitali looked great vs Adamek and is still top shape for a few fights.
+1 I hope he has to fight a more legit eliminator so he'll lose and Vitali can get a more legit opponent. I would also like Vitali fight Helenius,Dimitrenko, Wach. I want to see him brutalize a big man.
Of course he is old. He is 40. He retired for 4 years. He has been treated for serious injuries. However, his HW comeback is the second best ever after George Foreman's. He has a better comeback resume than Foreman. The only difference is that Foreman did it at 45, after 10 years of not fighting.
Does Vitali look old as an athlete? Not at all. He toyed with Adamek last night--we all saw it. Does he look as fast as Wladimir? Absolutely not. You can see the difference going back to watch Wlad/Haye. Which makes me think Haye won't be such an easy fight for Vitali since Haye is so hard to hit. But i dunno how Haye handles Vitali's punch output.
Vitali looked in great shape, plenty of stamina, good pop in his hands, elusive, I'm not seeing what some others are seeing.
