The only time he dubiously quit was against Byrd. I've torn my rotator cuff and it hurts, but he was so far in front against such a small opponent, that it seemed surviving a couple more rounds one-handed was quite possible. Byrd was not going to knock him out.

He showed great heart against Lewis, wanting to continue with half his face ripped off.

I don't believe for a second that he ducked the likes of Rahman....come on! Rahman had already established himself as one of the most inconsistent, unreliable fighters out there. John Ruiz beat him easily. Klitschko wasn't afraid...he was just motivated to do other things.

He lost to top 5 HW ever in Lennox, and lost fair and square BUT his haters try to say his fight vs Byrd was close it wasnt he was winning easy, and i just cant understand why he stopped...no way could BYrd stop him and he had fight won,

Klitschko had 2 surgeries before the Rahman fights. He wasn't forced to retire by Rahman, but by back and knee problems.

    Dont feed the troll.

It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

Another ruined life by Klitschko brothers. I feel sorry for you.
And btw there is difference between injury and injury. Shoulder injuries can end your career permanent.
Back in time i have inflammation of the tendon on my shoulder and hurt big time when i boxing its hurt even when i only try to keep my guard up ...
You dont know what the pace is on their level so please dont comment.
Be quiet, you look smarter then.

Uncomfortable with Rahman and Stiverne? Sheeeiiiittt that is a good one. the post is rubbish. Vitali Klitschko has the heart and mind of a warrior. Enjoyed fighting and had the highest ko rate of heavy weights, period. Sent Lewis into retirement. ask Lewis's mama who knew about that. Rahman and Stiverne aren't bums but they are not in either Klitschko's class. Fool, every rotator injury is not the same. they don't dole them out after they are produced in a factory. like your pee brain was. A fighter is not to be faulted if he can tell the seriousness of an injury would incapacitate him in the future, i.e. take his livlihood away. this is not the ancient gladiator games. Klitscko even said at the time, paraphrasing, that if he continued I will lose the use of my arm. maybe that would have entertained the morons on your level but he couldn't care less about you morons. He fought and became champion. amazing how many trolls have computers under the bridges where they live.

    A terrible post.

He had an operation on his shoulder about 5 days after the Byrd fight, plus he's had multiple back and knee surgeries.

He desperately wanted a rematch with Lennox, and he went to London to meet him face to face. But you keep telling yourself he was scared of Rahman and Stiverne.

    :patsch

Doing kickboxing early probably had a lot to do with it!
But again that's what made him fun to watch and gave him his weird/slick style and excellent use of his height.

Vitali is the most complete hw fighter ive ever seen, only injury prevents him from goat. H2h he could well be goat. I enjoyed the comeback even though it was a slower arm punching version. Lewis won on the cut but there's no doubt in my mind Vitali was better. If he'd been around just a few years earlier he would have proved that beyond doubt.

don't assume your cuff rip was as bad as Vits.

don't assume all cuff rips are the same, they are not.

I have had 3. 2 not too bad and 1 horrendous.
