Vitali would have knocked Lewis out in the 7th round, Lewis was ready to go, even Max Kellermann said that. Lewis' nose was broken in that fight. Lewis retired rather than keep his promise of a rematch with Vitali.

 

Lewis was no where near being KO'd. Just because his nose was broke doesn't mean he was bout to be KO'd. Just cause Vitali's eye was busted, does that mean he was bout to be KO'd? Yes I had Vitali winning, but he wasn't bout to get a KO anytime soon.

 

Lewis was ready to go, Max was sitting right behind him. Lewis' Promoter wanted the fight to be stopped as he knew Lewis was going to be knocked out. Angelo Dundee said that Vitali was cheated out of the title that night. All he needed was one more round or less. Lewis was hurt more than once, Vitali was not. Vitali has always had great stamina/chin, Lewis has not. Lewis' stamina was gone period. Watch the tape with your eyes open.

Vitali has several sparring partners, Thompson and Byrd are two of them, I forgot the name of the other one shown in the pictures.

 

Lewis was in bad shape for that fight because he took the fight on two weeks notice. He was tired by the middle of the 3rd. He did get hurt a few times, but he was never in trouble to where he was about to go. The fight is on youtube, point out exactly where.

 

Well at least Vitali isn't pissed off at Byrd or anything. They must be on good terms.

Lennox was no where near ready to go. If Lennox was going to go it would have been in the 3rd round and he didn't.... Lennox won the 2 previous rounds before the stoppage (which must be about the 5th time i've said that on this thread) which means Lennox was coming back into it and was only 2 rounds down. I actually remember Vitali hanging onto Lewis a couple of times in the 5th from uppercuts that were landing flush every time Lewis threw one.

Max talks ****... always has and always will.

Vitali was not robbed neither. It was a legitimate stoppage. Punches caused so much damage he couldn't continue without risking his career to blindness

Does anyone know what Byrd weighs these days?

And any idea who those other boxers are? I'm not into reading 18 pages of Farmerboxer/Fighting weight bull**** about the Klitschko-Lewis stoppage.
