Arguing with you Klit-haters is a waste of time. I'm not even a fan of the Klitschkos, but if you can't see that Vitali was ten time the fighter glass-jawed joke Rahman was, there is just not much more to discuss.
Zak-- Be honest though just answer me, had you fought in a WBC ordered Box off for the vacant title and won would you not consider yourself a world champion? yes or no its a simple one Zak and being as educated about this sport as you are I am sure you can answer this honestly.
You mean AFTER the title was vacant? Sure. But this practice of awarding titles is THOROUGHLY illegitimate - and in any event it's not the "real" title. Basically, if Rahman had one the belt, he would have been a fractional beltholder, nothing more. This business of calling guys "three time champs" based on winning a fractional belt is only debtably valid in the case of guys who recognized top fighters in the sport like Lewis or Holyfield - let alone guys like Rahman, who NOBODY recognized as the top fighter in the sport.
So then in your eyes Lennox Lewis is not a three time world champion, you still didnt answer the qusetion though, would you not consider yourself a champion had you won that title? and he did win it through the box off becuase the WBC did state that Vitali must face the winner with in so many days or the winner would be declaired the champion how ****ing hard is that for you to understand?
your really not even worth debating with, bringing up something from a few yrs back to try to hate on somebody is really pathetic:tired
Exactly. One of the weakest arguments ever. What was VK afraid of, knocking him only 5 feet out of the ring instead of the 7-8 Maskaev did? Rahman was twiced OWNED by Oleg Maskaev. That's about all you need to know. Vitali would have decapitated him.
Paul, nobody said he was affraid of Rahman, I simply stated that VK should have took that fight rather than the fight he has now, McCline isnt **** and wont do **** for his career, Rahman still has a win over Lewis is a former two time HW champion and basicly this is un finished business this fight would do far better for VK than the fight he has now that simple. but he has chosen to take a fight with a guy who is known for freezing in big fights its pathetic. if your going to pick a bum pick the one that you had lined up to fight before you retired, dont pick the one who never did anything in the sport.
I actually thought he should have fought rachman as well, but there could be many reasons why it didn't happen. Is Rachman still with King? I'm not sure anymore but that would be one reason. after getting KO'd by Oleg the second time his stock has fallen to an all time low. and after his last fight he prooved he is finshed.
