Vitali has been making the division worse than it already is for the past 3 years, while screwing other fighters in the process, guys like Maskaev, Mccline, and Rahman like 3 or 4 times. Its time for him to sit in Wlads corner and watch him dominate an extremely weak division, Vitali's prime years are gone.
Except against the only two elite fighters he ever faced, where is KO% is ZERO. He is also 0-1, 0 KOs against Maskaev. :yep Irrelevant when he ends up losing by stoppage, and unimpressive when you look at the competition level when he didn't get stopped or quit. Again, irrelevant if he ends up losing. But how impressive was he really in those fights? - He held his own against the oldest, fattest & slowest version of Lewis ever to step in the ring. But the only round he clearly won was the second, and he lost the final round on all 3 cards. He was only leading by one clear round. - Seeing as you are so in to stats, he had a pitiful connect % against Byrd, only landing around the same number of punches as Byrd even though he threw twice as many. No, he's just VASTLY overrated. I considered myself a Klitschko fan while they were "up & coming". I'm still a fan of Wlad, but the hype got completely out of control in the case of Vitali. He's a good fighter obviously, but for someone whose ACTUAL ACHIEVEMENTS are roughly on a par with the likes of Tony Tubbs or Mike Weaver, the nuthugging he receives is bordering on ridiculous.
Heavyrighthand your one of the few Klit huggers I actually like, but how many times are you going to fall for Vitali's ****, I mean how many fights does he have to cancel for you to realize he is done as a fighter. He not only pissed boxing fans off, but he also ****ed over fighters like Rahman, Maskaev, and Mccline that trained to fight him and he backed out at the last minute. I was a fan of Vitali's at one time, he showed the toughness in the ring that his brother could only dream of having, when times got tough he didnt fall or go into a panic attack he kept fighting, and I really liked that about him. Even if Vitali did comeback, he will not be the same fighter he was 3 years ago.
I would bet everything I got that Wlad couldnt beat Vitali, if your so smart explain to me how he would beat Vitali then. Vitali would dominate him like Corrie Sanders did, Vitali is mentally stronger and wont fold up once he gets hit, he will fire back.
