You do watch JMM fights? He is my favorite fighter of all time. Plus SRR is the man of course.

I've seen most of Marquez's fights in the last few years.

I never saw the Norwood fight, but people tell me not to bother because it was such a crap fight.

He was stunned but just the fact that he never went down proved how sturdy his chni was. That lewis uppercut would have KOed 99% of heavyweights.

I don't know the context of his statement.

I wouldn't say Peter has naturally gifted "boxing ability," he's had to work very hard for every bit of skill he has.

However, he is a gifted athlete.

That's a huge man, and he can play soccer...he can fight 12 rounds, when guys who look in much better condition gas out.

    He's incredibly strong...

His physical gifts and fighting spirit can't be denied, perhaps it was a misunderstanding...I wasn't there, but you can agree Peter does have certain natural gifts that are valuable for a boxer, could you not...???

Yeah it was rather awful. JMM should have got the win. I think he has rebounded nicely. Who are you going with in the bhop and calzaghe fight?

    I assume you mean Hopkins-Pavlik or Jones-Calzaghe.

I think Pavilk wins an ugly decision. And Calzaghe wins a clear UD or stops a tired Jones late.

I would've picked the Jones of a few years ago to beat Calzaghe (and Hopkins for Pavlik), but not these versions.

Yes. However, if he had a glass jaw this conversion would not even be takn place. I just dont see his boxing skills.

Yeah. You know I would not be suprised if Bhop wins. As for Cal and Jones thats a tought choice. Jones may have Cals number. In boxing anything can happen.

    Thanks for sharing.

Vitali is always in good shape, retired or not the man is a gym addict, if you noticed in almost all of Wladimir's fight after Vitali retired you will find him in the gym training with Wladimir and even sparring. Nothing new if you know Vitali.

Vitali was injured in the Byrd fight, 100% true. The most true statement is Vitali has never been dazed, or knocked down by a punch.

He HAS been hurt (injured) by punches, and that was from Lewis. Peter doesn't have straight punches like that so I'm not worried about cuts in this fight. Most of Peter's shots will attempt to land on the back of the head anyway.

I am getting a feeling Peter is going to get the Kirk Johnson treatment from Vitali.
