Yeah because Peter has a history of cutting and/or knocking out decent heavyweights.

    Some are listed below.

Vitali's injuries don't even repeat themselves as much as you do, although it will probably make you cry when this fight actually happens.:p

This depends on how much Vitali has in him. If Vitali is about half as good as he was the last time we saw him, I think that will be enough to defeat the crude Peter. Probably by stoppage.

I'm shocked that so many are picking Vitali to win easily. Peter is arguably the best HW right now right behind Wlad. Vitali hasn't fought in years. I'm going with Peter. He showed that he's not just a one dimensional fighter against Toney. He graduated after those fights. :good

graduated to mopping the canvas against mccline

look, he's solid. that's it. he will never be a dominant force cause he lacks consistency in preparation and a top notch skillset. his power, chin and heart keeps him live against anybody. he will remain a viable hw contender for the foreseeable future.

i make him a slight underdog against vitali. peter is tailor-made for vit cause he leaves himself open to counters, vitali was a murderous counter-puncher with an iron chin. however, age and injuries cast a pretty big cloud of doubt over the fight but not enough to prevent me from making an avatar bet which will have the Punisher sporting "compromising pics of the klitschkos" :D

Peter is not very dangoerus past 6 rounds. Vitlai will out box Peter as easily as Wlad did, but unlike Wlad, Vitlai takes a much better punch, and fights tall, which will prevent Peter from landing his rabbit punches.

From what I have seen, Peter can be hurt by hooks and uppercuts, or badly swollen by jabs.

Best guess is Vitlai stops Peter in the mid to late rounds.
