I'd say a Holyfield decision. Pretty close though.

Vitali was stopped by an old Lewis. Old Holyfield, not prime, neutalized prime Lewis offense. What's this "Holyfield can't handle the big guys" stuff?

    Vitali UD.
I don't think he KOs Holyfield in his prime.
I think only a handful of fighters could have KO'd Holyfield in his prime.

Ummm, neutralized? Really? In the first fight, Holyfield only won about one round on my scorecard if I remember correctly, while the most could be three rounds. In the second fight, Lewis didn't want to get robbed again, so he decided to fight more aggressively, yet he still won very convincingly. I don't think neutralized is the right word to use here.

    Holyfield MD12

Close fight, but Holyfield would outwork Vitali.

i really think that holyfield in his prime might be unable to be knocked out. i know bow 3 but that was from food poinsoning he was exahausted. he took tyson and lewis who where huge punchers. mcall might be only man with a better chin that holfield its a close race. is'nt mcall only heavyweight to have never been down?

He damn sure rendered Lewis' KO/TKO power ineffective. i.e. Neutralized.

    Dear Daruf
    kind regards
    I agree with your comments.
I feel that Vitali would box Evander Holyfield from long range and just be too good for him, much in the same way that Bowe and Lewis was.
Bowe was an inside fighter and Vitali will only mix it up if he has to so he won't provide Holyfield with the opportunity for an explosive match.
Dr Vitali Klitschko wins over twelve rounds.
    yours thankfully
    John

Disagree here. Holyfield was 30 yrs old for the first Bowe fight as it was. That was an off night for him. :deal He was due one by 30, don't ya think. The Holyfield of Foreman KO's Vitali late.

Holyfield is a small heavyweight and has always struggled with the bigger heavyweights like Bowe, Foreman and Lewis. Holyfield's best performance against a super heavy was the 2nd Bowe fight where he used his speed and boxing skills to outbox the slow and cumbersome Bowe, who for a big man sucked at fighting from range.

Holyfield isn't going to outbox Vitali from range like Bowe. Vitali knows how to utilise his physical advantages in height and reach and won't negate them by trying to get into a tear up like Bowe did.

Vitali was beaten by Lewis because Lewis was able to turn the fight into a brawl which Vitali is not adept at. If Holyfield cannot outbox him then he'll need to turn the fight into a brawl to win.

I think Holyfield will do well and use his big advantages in speed and agility to make it competitive but Vitali will smother him in close and outbox Evander to earn a close but clear decision.

Vitali does not fight on the inside, Holyfield will win a close but clear UD... However if a clash of heads takes place
    Holyfield TKO 6
