Vitali Klitschko vs. Juan Carlos Gomez - Round by Round

So it's not just me who thinks that.

 

Vitali's getting control now.

First to Gomez, 2 and 3 to Vitali.

Best punch for Vitali has been the jab, hasn't timed anything else yet. Gomez is trying hard to get inside and doing okay himself, but Vitali ties up. Not a great watch so far but okay.

 

Vitalli seems to have gassed very badly. Mouth hanging open during the 4th round.

 

Vitali is winning the rounds but looks tired and thats a worry cos its a tiny ring and he's only really throwing a jab

 

Has Vitali hurt Gomez yet? I mean staggered him or slowed him enough that it looks like he might stop him?

 

It's hard to tell with Vitali. He has a very relaxed style so he can look tired. But he's looked slow from round 1, a far cry from the version that fought Lewis. I don't know if he's tired or just looking poor, maybe both.

 

A much better performance from Gomez than Peter, so far.

 

Klit looks tired, Gomez aggressive.

 

Gomez got him mad in that round. He said something to vitali and vitali then started putting some some power into his punches.

 

Not that I've seen, although the "radio feed" is juttering around a fair bit.

Some of the comments on the side portal are ****ing disgraceful TBH.

 

This is a world championship hugging contest

 

Klitschko not looking great but he's up on the cards.

This performance is really making me think he'd struggle with POVETKIN.

 

exactly why i try to avoid that kind of radio feed. you can't even switch off the chat box. :twisted:

 

Klit is winning but Gomez isn't remotely intimadated.

 

Gomez's right eye looks bad.
