Im a huge Vitali fan. He's an inspiration to me. But I just can't see him winning here. There is a clear gap in skills between the two.

so is everyone who can take lewis bombs for 6 rounds, a great chin?

I just don't see that. It means they are good chins, but great no.

Povetkin does have a great chin, but Wlad actually dropped him. Vitali has never been dropped.

Yeah, so? Lewis' stamina was shot but his power was still there. Sanders had had a god-awful training camp against Rahman and was anything but firing on all cylinders, and he took him to hell and back before gassing. Yet that doesn't feature in your calculations.

Absurd. :nut:patsch Only Dino looks at a guy that has never been off his feet in his entire boxing career, and decides "meh, his chin isn't so great".

Hell yes. Lewis should have lost that night but instead dug deep and came out with the win, against the odds. TKO6 singlehandedly takes his resume to another level.

:huh Are you sure that you aren't confusing Steve Gee with Vitali Klitschko? That would explain a lot of things :think

I am a huge Dinovelvet fan. His singleminded fanaticism is a beacon in the darkness. But sadly he DKSAB and belongs in the nuthouse :conf It is what it is, alas.

Stop quoting me. You're the Adrien Broner of this forum. Every time I hand your ass , you run off , only to return later with some petty dig having totally ignored the the ass kicking you were just given.

Never Being off your feet means nothing , especially when you have an extremely pi$$ poor record like Vitali does.
Ottke was never down in his career. Does he have a better chin than Froch who was floored twice?
Calzaghe was floored multiple times. How does he have an iron chin:huh
I already told to his reaction and hesitance to engage after getting clipped bursts the myth he had an ATG chin.
This guy was stopped in his tracks and ran back wards by pudding puff punchers.

Rahman took multi punch combos off Sanders and never took a step back. Vitali felt one punch and almost ran out of the ring. He literally ran for his life . That is not the actions of an ATG chin.
RAHMAN WASnt afraid to walk Sanders down. Vitali was very fearful.

To make matters worse Rahman fought Sanders at his best.
Vitali fought a Sanders who shouldn't have been granted a licence to box.

And Vitali was dropped to his knees in that fight . There's no two ways about it.

Hide got utterly destroyed every time he fought a very good/great fighter, Norton did not.

    Stop quoting me Ralphy Wiggum.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Small Ray Mecer took double , triple what Vitali got. Its not even debatable.

He chewed those uppercuts up for breakfast. More importantly , he was still within his senses to box. He fought Lewis back for 10 rounds and deserved to win according to many observers.

Vitali was done after 6. After taking a lesser barrage of punches.

And the uppercuts Lewis hit Mercer with were far more damaging and hurtful than the ones he hit Vitali with.

That also goes for Marovic, Tyson , Holyfield, MaCall

Even a shot to bits , old Tony Tucker proved he had more durability than Vitali.

ATG chins aren't drawn up out of fandom. The argument for him having an ATG chin is as shallow as a puddle of rain. Its based off nothing.

:huh Maybe because your twisted version of reality isn't an "ass kicking"? Also, my petty digs are far more amusing than your monomanic predictable drivel :D

    Dinomoron at his finest.

I'll be honest I haven't watched that much Ottke so maybe that reflects the quality of his opposition.

:lol: Welcome one, welcome all, to the DinoCrazy Asylum where getting knocked down twice (once almost out of the ring) equals "not taking a step back". :nut

 He got caught and wobbled by a crushing counter that caught him coming in. Was he supposed to stand around and flail away until Sanders KO'd him? Ya know, I dunno if you've watched boxing much, but you're allowed to, uh, actually AVOID punches. It's true! It is a legitimate tactic under Queensbury rules

I base my argument off facts. That is why you never have any retort and chop away 90% of my posts which contain talk on boxing.

    Boooolshyte. Reflect on this:

AE: I heard you'd had a knee operation a couple of months before and you came in quite heavy for that fight.

CS: Well, that's true, yes, but I don't want to sound like those guys who say 'no excuses' and then talk nothing but excuses. I don't like that all that. My preparations could have been a little better but maybe his could have, too, you know?

    http://www.secondsout.com/archive/anthony-evans/q--a-with-corrie-sanders

Sanders had done no roadwork and practically no sparring for the Rahman fight. :deal

    Dino = DKSAB

But alas, it was no KD.

He did what he had to do , but what he did isn't the behavior of an ATG iron chinner.

Raham fought toe-to-toe with primer , faster , harder hitting Sanders.

Do the match. The equation is simple.
