I thought Solis was Vitali's mandatory? Solis stopped Haye in the amateurs, so knocking out Solis would be good move to make Haye look even more of a coward. Haye will never fight a Klitschko, never.

 

Solis is basically unknown at this point but if Vitaliy has to fight him, he will do it. How he get to that high is a bit of a mistery for me. He has not fight the opposition that could lead him to that.

Vitaliy could take Briggs on the meantime. He is well known, old school fighter. Plus, he is ranked well by WBC and WBA. I would rather see him fighting Adamek but maybe Wladimir will fight Adamek. That's how I see it. Vitaliy vs Briggs and Wladimir v Adamek next year.

 

Vitali should fight Valuev or Solis as his mandatory defense, Briggs and Tua should fight with the winner getting a shot at Vitali, and the loser promises no more "comebacks" and retires.

 

i love how people are starting to give briggs credit at this point.

if it was haye who was in talks with briggs his fans would be laughed off every forum on the planet, but because it is klitchsko it is ok? same thing happened with kevin johnson.

for the record i dont think any of the belt holders should fight briggs.

solis has earned his shot, harrison will make money and chagaev is somehow back on the scene. hell tony thompson would be a better fight because he's lookedgood lately.

briggs has no right at this shot and should atleast beat a named opponent first. maybe tua or arreola?

 

its okay (in a sad way) because haye has shunned klitschko fights.
everything else is impotent foreplay in the heavies now, but you can't blame the klitschko's for that.

haye's already getting "laughed off the forum" becasue he's brought it on himself.

EDIT : briggs doesn't deserve "credit" - but at least he's willing to fight a klitschko...

 

it's not ok because if haye had signed to fight briggs i'd never hear the end of it.

they should continue what they are doing, beating top ranked contenders i.e. solis, thompson, peter etc.

vitali really should fight haye. booth said this is the fight they want, where is vitali's response? surely he isnt turning the fight down because wlad won a coin toss?

i mean i respect they are brothers but that would be foolish, not i dont say he is ducking haye, but that is the fight that should happen.

 

Problem between Vitali - Haye is same as Wlad - Haye.

Haye kept saying "I prefer Wlad" and then he said "I prefer Vitali". So I don't think one can rely on who he says he rally wants to fight. Looks to me like Haye doesn't really know himself what he wants.

 

how can you suggest that either klitschko is duckin haye when haye smack talked them for months and pulled out of fights against both of them?

it's the only fight people want to see at heavy and are you telling me that the klitschko brothers have suddenly decided to reneg on the fights they both want with haye so haye can beat audley infront of anyone dumb enough to go and see it?

 

he does. he wants audley.
he's in a position to milk his paper belt, and although i give him credit for beating valuev, it wasn't pretty but he deserved the win.

EDIT : if haye doesn't want to fight either brother, which he doesn't at the moment, love to see him fight sam peter.

Looks like this fight really might happen. Valuev still wants 3-4 million (I was told) Solis said NO. dont know about Adamek

so...... it looks like Briggs....

The ONLY thing I like about this fight is... finally someone will be able to shut shannon up for GOOD

 

Vitali will get a fair amount of **** for this IMO Chef. Most of it deserved as well. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the Klits but.... Shannon Briggs? Really?

I'd give Haye **** if he fought him so Vitali should get it as well
