He definetly is not. He had rough night against total nobody in his last fight. Lyachovick is shot to ****. Funny thing is that if vitali would be fighting either Ruiz or Toney this same guys would say that they are the best opponents available.
I said he has to fight a ranked opponent, I never said Liakhovich was the best ranked opponent. Try again dip****!
Been mentioned once or twice but I dont see why wlad beating someone automatically makes him a non-opponent for vitali. For example chambers, chagaev, or thompson (though I heard something about an injury with him) would all be better than lyakovich. But of course with boxing politics and this being such short notice these fights might just be wishful thinking, would just prefer not to see him beat around lyakovich
It's ridiculous to say Liakovich is the best possible option. But he may be the best possible option who is also a former champ (like Briggs, a name to add to Vitali's legacy). Boswell would be a much better fight but I imagine he's less known in Germany than Liakovich. Is there anybody out there that's actually calling out Vitali and wants to be Vitali's next opponent? I'm still hoping for Valuev but it looks like that ain't happening.
Vitaly-Stiverne would kick ass, but nobody knows who Stiverne is at this point. Bermaine has to go out there and beat the Lyakovichs, Toneys, Rahmens and Holyfields himself, as do all the other prospects, excepting of course Helenius, who is doing just that. Then these old timers can retire and guys like Stiverne can take their place in a very good diviison. Unitl then, Vitaly is 40 himslef, so I say bring Lyakovich, and I will watch and enjoy. Post Script: This diviison could be awesome. Stivern, Helenius, Pulev, Glazkov, Abdulsalamov, Chisora, Fury, Price, Dallas, Towers, Wilder, Mitchell, Hanks, Hammer, Madison, Lawrence, Wach, Warcyzk, Pala, Zimnoch, Tereshkin, Ustinov- don't tell me the talent isn't out there. But these guys have got to beat someone and get noticed.
Get the **** outta here :rofl Liakovich would beat seven shades of **** outta Audley & you know it too..................
The Klitschkos could do a double header against Godzilla & King Kong & Jack would still find fault................
I would love to see Vitali beat the **** outta Toney or Ruiz for that matter. They'd be fine for "stay busy" type fights.
You see, me too. Vitaly is now 40 years old- why can't he mix in a few fights with the old timers that he couldn't get in the ring back in the day? As long as he is making his mandatory and taking on good fighters like Adamek, why not mix in Ruiz, Toney, Rahmen, Bowe, Holyfield, Maskaev, etc? I agree with the other poster that a fight agaisnt Stiverne would be great- if Stiverne goes out and beats someone to make himself a marketable name. Maybe actually earn the fight. Perhaps Lyakovich has not done much lately, but he has an intruiging name from past accomlishements. Right now, Stiverne is not a houshold name in his own houshold. Will it be a great fight- yes. Will it be marketable- no.
