Vitali easily. Lewis was KTFO-ed twice - that hurts his H2H king claim.

TBH, Ali takes them both, the vastly underrated Holmes has the style to beat both, one cannot forget Joe Louis and Prime Tyson as well.

It pains me to say while Lennox is the greatest Canadian to ever put on a pair of gloves he is not the best H2H. Vitali is ok but he does worse against the names I mentioned above and more and really should not be in the conversation. H2H Wlad is the better fighter but is fragile jaw will never make him a H2H great.

    Sorry, ATG TKO6 K2

Maybe not Willard (who is clearly being underrated here since he has better stamina than Lewis, Vitaly and Wladimir) but Jack Johnson had a style that can neutralize and spoil the bigger men. Frankly, Jack Johnson a fighter who mastered the art of feinting, who was incredibly strong and knew all the tricks of the trade and proved himself against some class fighters should come in at even money against Wladimir.

Lewis has a slight edge against Johnson; though his style bears resemblance to Wlad's I think he improvises a lot better in fights and therefore is likely to be make the kind of adjustments necessary to pull this one out. That and he has the equalizer.

Vitaly's awkward style and incredible work rate makes this a more difficult challenge for Johnson. I'll give Vitaly the edge but I'm willing to bet the beer money that it goes the distance.

Couldn't be further from the truth.

Lewis, Tyson, Bowe, Liston, Louis, Ali, Foreman, Wladimir (yes I think Wlad beats him), Holmes, Holyfield, Ibeabuchi.

He's nowhere close to being #2.

Not quite. Lewis was a pampered superstar who benefitted in hindsight from being in the shadows of Tyson and Holyfield. For all the talk of Lewis getting ducked and scaring everybody; little is said about how he consistently turned down career high paydays during his run in the HW division.

He turned down Rock Neuman's offer to fight Riddick Bowe in 1993 for $10 million dollars and $12 million after the Tucker fight. They squabbled over money but lets not pretend that Bowe was somehow scared of Lewis.

Same with Tyson; Lewis was offered a career high $13.5 million in 1996 by Tyson's camp and he rejected it. But Holyfield, like in the Bowe situation took the fights that Lewis refused. Evander accepted the $8 million from Tyson's camp.

Evander was just being self serving to look like the brave man taking on the feared Lennox Lewis when it was Holyfield who ducked Mike Tyson in 1991 by deciding to face Foreman instead despite the fact that King tried to have him stripped of his WBC title for not immediately facing Tyson after Douglas. He also ducked Ruddock in 1992 and chose to fight Riddick Bowe because he thought it would be a safer option. But this is getting off topic.

The point is that Lewis had longevity and because of that, it has provided a false narrative to what actually happened.

Lewis fought in a far deeper era.

Vitaly fought in a shallow era and has the distinction of losing to the 2 best fighters he's ever faced. That also hurts his H2H king claim.

if vitali and lewis fought ten times it would probably end up being 5-5 or 6-4, same can be said for a lot of the greats

I knew about the offers made to Lewis by Bowe and Tyson in 1993 and 1996 respectively. What I didn't was the business regarding Evander, particularly the 1991 fight. Another poster Judge Dredd also said that Holyfield's camp did whatever they could to make sure that fight did not happen before Tyson went to trial.

I'm a big Lewis fan, but I'm not delusional to the point of insanity like Kbro Fans.

Lennox was a scandalous Jamican MOther fuker. He was a crafty lion that knew he was gonna be the last one standing

He saw all the issues that the other Top Fighters had.
Lennox saw all, Lennox Knew all. Lennox see **** before it even happens.

(Other then Rahman's right hand and Mcall's that is)
