Why are you bringing up a completely different fighter (who btw, is vastly improved today), in a fight that was 7-years and 17-fights ago?:roll:

    Not going to happen. :nono

They can absolutely, but not in this case.

What makes you so sure Solis will win anyway?

I'm not 100% sure, I see it as a 50/50 fight. Specially because I have been following Solís since he was an amateur and I lived in Cuba. I have confidence he won't go down without a fight, and there is a fairly good chance he upsets Vitali, but time will tell.

I also know it's not good to state things so categorically, specially when we are talking about two guys who have arms, legs, and heads in the right places. I've seen worse upsets anyway. They also have the same reach. A lot of you are writing Solís off, and you might be in for a huge surprise.

I daresay that after Lewis, Solís is the most dangerous fighter Vitali has faced.

Gomez......... Big, fast handed fighter with very good skill.
    Arreola.....hard puncher and tough guy.
Peter....hard puncher and very tough guy.
    Johnson.........very skilled and slick boxer......

Solis.............none of the above. Less than average power, not overly skilled as a boxer, short and overweight, EVERY time out. He's as consistently overweight as he is consistently short.......LOL

THis fight will be the most predictable Vitali has had.

One sided thrashing, pillar to post, until Solis either quits, or falls in a heap.

You know, the only fight I've ever seen live of Solis is the Austin fight....and I was extremely disappointed in what I saw given the hype. So I could be underrating him some based on that fight. I do expect Solis to come into the ring in much better shape than he did against Austin, I just don't think it will matter. Vitali will eventually wear Solis down and KO or TKO him. That's my call.

Vitali has got the guns pumped and ready.

I smell a knockout this time, as Vitali said after the Briggs fight that he was gonna work on getting away from the armpunching.

    Clean KO..............

That post is total bull****, you know about boxing what I know about quantum physics, that's it, nothing.

One hint: put Gómez in the ring with Solís, and watch Gómez get KO'd in 5 under rounds.

Go find a weaving and knitting forum.

Gomez had over 300 amateur fights for Cuba. He is 6 feet 4 inches tall, southpaw, former world champion as a pro. He is fast, good defense, etc. Vitali stopped him, he tried though. He is better than Solis and bigger. Solis eats for a living, will soon be on "Man Vs. Food". Solis will have to fight a lot better than he did against Austin. Vlad stopped Austin using only his left hand, stopped Austin in the 2 round with five left hooks in a row. Why was Austin/Solis an eliminator? Don King?
