clearly the lack of oxygen was affecting briggs' brain....

he fought lennox back in the late 90's, when he himself was younger, fresher, and at his peak.....and lennox TKO'd his ass

tonight, he was a slow, plodding, overweight ****, and SHOULD have been put away by the 5/6th round by any GREAT heavyweight.....

but like always, even if he did get stopped, it would be due to his exhaustion, rather than it having to do with klitschko's power....briggs was rocking and reeling from exhaustion, not from hurt, and klitschko could not put away a guy that was just there to be had....

any version of lewis would have buried him into the ****ing floor tonight, and tyson would have decapitated him.

if anything this fight proves the dire state of the heavyweight landscape, and how massively overrated the klitschko's will be because of this.

 

Friendly reminder: Briggs threw more punches in the first 2 rounds vs Lewis then he did in the entire 12 rounds vs Klitschko.

Another friendly reminder: Lewis stood in front of Briggs and unloaded shots not worrying about getting out of the way of Briggs' punches.

One more friendly reminder: Briggs' was 34 pounds lighter and 12 years younger when he fought Lewis. He was 10x faster and 1000x times more active esp earlier in fights then he is now.

Oh wait one last friendly reminder: VK is 39 but Briggs is also 38 and has been a pro for over 18 years so lets not act like just because VK is 39 that solves every question. This is no where near the same Briggs that fought Lewis. A prime Shannon Briggs gives prime VK problems early and this verison of Briggs lasts maybe 4 rounds with prime Lewis and would be lucky to land one punch even with Lewis standing in front of him blind folded with his hands at his side.
