Vitali tries to intimidate Haye

I like Haye - but the amount of **** he has talked, if he dont fight a Klit then he is going to look very bad. it is not like there is anyone else in the divison worth fighting. and the klits are making all the noise now - haye has gone very quiet all of a sudden

 

Using the analogy of Ali not fighting Frazier is hardly comparable to two men that are directly related to one another.. How many times in history can you specifically list where two brothers fought? Sure, I'd like to see one of them retire so that the other can try and unify, but things aren't that cut and dry... What is rather clear however, is that you have a titlist who is unrelated to either man, and is shooting his mouth off while not excepting challenges from both, and prefers to fight John Ruiz instead. I'm simply not buying this effort to divert the attention away from Haye and shift blame over to the Klitschko's.. At least they are facing reasonable competition whilst Haye is facing nobody.....

 

Haye should have only called one of the brother's out at a time, when it all comes down to it...

^^Take a pill man. You won't have too many people agree with this thinking. Dude asked when the last time any two brothers actually fought each other in the ring. You said they battle in and out of combat sports all the time. Well...... give us an example of two who have in boxing... To me, even if they DID fight, it would be a 'fix' job, so what's the point?

In what division are the titles unified leaving an undisputed champ, where do they rank in terms of "marqee" divisions in the sport, why would this logic not apply to other divisions as well? What does them fighting each other have to do with Haye dodging both? Either way, they are both champions and the opportunity is there for someone to beat both and be undisputed champion and also have two HUGE wins on their resume, period.

 

I think you'd be hard pressed to find siblings facing each other in boxing, and frankly even if the two Klits did lace it up, the conflict of interest would be so strong, that the better man might not even win... In either case, this does not justify Haye challenging and trash talking both brothers, then backing out of fights against the two of them...

As for your comment about the Klits ruling the scene for nearly a decade, you're ignoring the fact that Vitali left the ring for 4 years, then returned at that age of 37 to beat Sam Peter in his first fight back... Who has Haye beaten in the near two years that he's been a heavyweight that eclipses that win? Since 2008, Wlad has beaten Chagaev, Chambers, Ibragimov, and Thompson - all of whom are more worthy opponents than Valuev, Ruiz or Barrett.... You can slice it and dice it any way you want, but the fact is, the Klits are taking on qualified opponents and keeping their mouths shut, while Haye is smack talking and not fighting anybody......It really is that simple....

-Wlad beat Chris Byrd who was ranked #1 by Ring at the time. After unifying with Sultan and beating the lineal WBA Champion in Chageav, Wlad is now recogonized by Ring and most other people with common sense as the true undisputed Champion.

-Since his return, Vitali only defeated the #2 in Peter. He can't be the Man until he beats Wlad, otherwise he has no claim as King of the Hill.

-If Povetkin defeated Wlad he would be the Man and Ring Champion, very basic logic.

 

Dubblechin, Do really belts mean so much for you? Do they actually define a real champion? Its all only politics now and i don't get your struggle. However, if you need that so bad (first time seeing someone who has problem with the fact belts are only in bros) to understand who is the best by now, you have always "the ring" belt which should be a little hint for you.
